For guests arriving with pets

Dear Guest,

Our hotel warmly welcomes guests arriving with a small pet, so your stay can be a truly complete experience together with your companion. To ensure that both your relaxation and that of our guests without pets remains undisturbed, we kindly ask you to observe our Pet-Friendly Hotel Etiquette.

We primarily welcome four-legged companions; accommodating other small pets may be possible upon individual consideration. As we can accept pets only in a limited number of rooms, please indicate your request at the time of booking, but no later than 48 hours prior to arrival.

Terms & important information:

  • Up to 10 kg, subject to a surcharge: 15,000 HUF / night / pet
  • A maximum of 1–2 pets per room, strictly upon prior arrangement and confirmation.
  • Pets may stay in the room only under the guest’s supervision.
  • Please do not leave your dog alone in the room for a prolonged period if it may lead to separation anxiety.
  • Please hang the “Pet in the Room” door-hanger sign on the door handle to inform our staff when your pet is resting in the room.
  • Common areas may be used only to access the guest rooms.
  • Pets are welcome in the Compass Bar; however, they are not allowed in our restaurant or in the spa and wellness area (except for guide or assistance dogs).
  • If you would prefer not to leave your pet in the room during dinner, please let us know and we can serve the selected dishes in the lobby.
  • Dogs may be walked on the hotel premises only on a leash.
  • Pets must have all mandatory vaccinations, which must be proven with a vaccination record/pet passport.
  • Minor accidents can happen—please kindly take care of cleaning up. Where possible, we ask that such activities be done outside the hotel. We recommend heading towards the hotel parking area and using the dog waste bagsprovided there.
  • Please bring only friendly pets that do not disturb the peace of other guests.

If the arrival of a pet is not reported in advance and no pet-friendly room is available, we will charge a one-time additional cleaning fee of 30,000 HUF, in addition to the pet surcharge.
The guest is fully liable for any damage caused by the pet and must reimburse the Service Provider prior to departure. The Service Provider is entitled to charge an additional cleaning fee if the room has not been used as intended. The maximum additional cleaning fee is 50,000 HUF.

If any equipment/object becomes unusable, the guest is obliged to pay its current replacement cost. If the guest does not report this at check-out and the damage can be proven to be attributable to the guest, the Service Provider is entitled to charge the Contracting Party’s bank card.
